Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use scratcher.io, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard or other assistive technology.

Our standard

This website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. This also covers the European standard EN 301 549, which the European Accessibility Act builds on. The website is partially compliant: most of it meets the standard, with the exceptions listed below under known limitations.

This statement covers scratcher.io in all languages and the Scratcher platform (platform.scratcher.io). It partly covers the campaigns our customers make with Scratcher, and we are working on improving their accessibility.

What we do

  • Every page is tested automatically against WCAG 2.2 A and AA on mobile, tablet and desktop before release.
  • The site works with a keyboard only, with visible focus, and with screen readers (landmarks, headings, labels and live states).
  • Text and buttons meet the AA contrast requirements, and touch targets are at least 24 × 24 pixels.
  • Animations are turned off if you have asked your device to reduce motion.
  • All images have a text alternative, or are marked as decorative.
  • Pages are available in English, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Polish.

Videos

The videos on this site are short screen recordings without sound. Each one has a text description, every video can be paused, and videos that start by themselves stay still if you have asked your device to reduce motion.

Known limitations

  • The reports and guides you can download as PDF files are not yet fully accessible with a screen reader. If you need the content in another format, write to us and we will send it to you.
