This cookie policy explains which cookies and similar technologies scratcher.io uses, why, and how you can control them. Scratcher ApS, Fruebjergvej 3, 2100 København Ø, Denmark (CVR 38552864) is responsible for the website. How we otherwise handle personal data is described in our privacy policy.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. It lets the website remember things, such as your cookie choice. Some cookies are set by us (first-party cookies), and some by other services that we use (third-party cookies).
Some services also use similar technologies, such as pixels (small pieces of code that send information about your visit) and local storage in your browser. In this policy, "cookies" covers these technologies too.
Your choice
We only set cookies that are strictly necessary until you say yes to more. When you first visit the site, you can accept all cookies, reject all optional cookies, or choose for yourself in Settings. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and the website works the same either way.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. When you withdraw your consent, we delete the statistics and marketing cookies and local storage entries that we have set ourselves. Cookies stored on the domains of Google, Meta or LinkedIn can be deleted in your browser settings.
We ask for your consent again after 6 months, or sooner if we start using new types of cookies.

Marketing (only with your consent)
These cookies and pixels let us and our advertising partners show you relevant ads on other websites and social media, and measure how our ads perform, for example whether an ad led to a sign-up. The providers may combine the information with other data they hold about you, for example if you are logged in to Facebook or LinkedIn.

Google, Meta and LinkedIn may process the data outside the EU/EEA, for example in the USA. The transfer is protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses. For the Meta Pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag, we and Meta or LinkedIn are joint controllers for collecting the data on our website. Read more in their privacy policies: Google, Meta and LinkedIn.
The providers can change their cookies, so names and durations may vary slightly. We review this list regularly, and we always ask for your consent before statistics or marketing cookies are set.
Videos
Videos from YouTube are embedded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and videos from Vimeo with Vimeo's "do not track" setting, so Vimeo does not set tracking cookies. Both only load when you press play. Until then, no data is sent to the video provider.
Games made with Scratcher
Games and campaigns made with Scratcher run on our platform and may use their own cookies, for example to remember that you have already played. The business behind each campaign is responsible for informing you about this.
Delete cookies in your browser
You can always delete cookies, or block them, in your browser settings. If you block all cookies, some parts of the website may not work. See how in Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge.
