# Agencies and client accounts

Let an agency manage your account, or as an agency, manage all your clients from one login.

## Let an agency work on your account

1. Go to **Settings** > **Agencies** and click **Invite agency**.
2. Choose **Connect with agency by partner ID** if the agency gave you its ID, or **Invite agency by email** and fill in the agency's details.
3. Click **Send invitation**.

When the agency accepts, it can work on your account. The **Agencies** page lists each agency with its **Name**, **Public ID**, **Active from** date and **Status**: **Pending**, **Accepted** or **Declined**. In the **Actions** menu, **Cancel invitation** withdraws a pending invitation and **Remove** takes an agency off your account. Use **Search agencies** to find one.

You need the Owner or Admin role to invite agencies.

## For agencies: manage your clients

Agency accounts are set up by our team. [Book a meeting](https://scratcher.io/book-a-meeting) if you are an agency and want to work with Scratcher.

With an agency account, you get **Clients** in the top bar, with all your client accounts and their plan, views and active campaigns.

- **Add new client** creates a new account for a client, with its own brand, campaigns and results.
- **Invite new client** invites a business that already uses Scratcher.
- Each client's menu has **Go to account**, **Edit contact information**, **Billing**, **Transfer ownership**, **Revoke access** and **Delete account**.

Switch between your clients with **Current workspace** in the account menu.

## Hand an account over to the client

When a client is ready to take over, use **Transfer ownership** on a client account you created, and choose the user who should be the new owner.

## Refer clients

Under **Invite new referral**, agencies get their own referral link. Businesses that sign up with it are listed under **Referrals**. Click **Confirm** to add them to your client list.

## Invitations from businesses

When a business invites your agency from its own account, it is listed under **Clients** > **Invitations** with the plan and the date. Click **Confirm** to accept, and the business is added to your clients.

## Agency screens at a glance

- The **Clients** list shows each client's **Customer type**, **Subscription value**, **Active campaigns**, **Views** and **Interactions**. Filter with **By status**: **All**, **Trial** or **Paid**, and search with **Type to search…**.
- **Add new client** opens **Create account**: the **Company name**, **Website**, **Industry**, **Country**, **Upload logo**, the **Contact person name** and **Contact person email**, and **Use custom plan**. Click **Create account**.
- **Edit contact information** opens **Update account**.
- **Transfer ownership**: choose the new owner under **Change owner**.
- **Invite client**: invite a business that already uses Scratcher.
