# Generate a campaign plan with AI

Describe your business, choose a period, and get a list of campaign activities for your Plan calendar.

Don't know what to run next? Let AI suggest a plan of activities for a quarter, a month or the whole year.

1. Click **Plan** in the top bar and then **Generate plan**.
2. Describe your **Business area**, for example "a home decor brand selling furniture and accessories".
3. Describe your **Sales channel**, for example "webshop and three stores".
4. Choose the **Period**: a **Quarter** (Q1 to Q4), a **Specific month** or the **Whole year**, and the year.
5. Choose the **Number of activities** and the **Language**.
6. Click **Generate plan**.

You get a list of suggested activities with names and dates. AI looks for relevant occasions in the period, such as holidays and seasonal sales, spreads the activities over the whole period, and skips activities you already have on your plan.

7. Change names and dates, remove the ones you don't want with **Remove activity**, or click **Start over**.
8. Click **Add activities to plan** (the button shows how many, for example **Add 8 activities to plan**).

The activities are added to your **Plan** calendar. From each activity you can create the campaign yourself.

## Ask Rex

On the **Plan** page you can also ask Rex: "Plan next month with 8 activities." Rex asks for anything missing, such as what you sell, and then adds the activities directly, without the review step.

## Tips

- Fill in your [AI profile](https://scratcher.io/help/ai/ai-profile), so the plan fits your business.
- Mention local occasions or your own events in the business area, for example "we have an anniversary sale in May".
