# AI tokens and privacy

How AI tokens work, where to see your balance, what happens when you run out, and how your data is handled.

## What are AI tokens?

The AI features in Scratcher use AI tokens. Every plan includes a number of AI tokens each month, so you don't need to buy or set up any AI tools.

These use AI tokens:

- making, editing and cutting out images, including prize images and backgrounds made by Rex,
- rewriting and translating texts, pages and whole campaigns,
- quiz questions and result pages,
- brand kits and themes,
- social media posts,
- campaign plans,
- performance reports.

Simple tasks, such as rewriting one text, use few tokens. Translating a whole campaign, making a theme or social posts uses more. Rex tells you before it does something that uses tokens.

These are free: chatting with Rex, asking questions, looking up numbers, analysing leads, and letting Rex change settings, prizes and the design kit.

## See your balance

Click your picture in the top-right corner. Under your plan, you see **AI tokens:** and how many you have left. You can also ask Rex: "How many AI tokens do I have?"

## When do I get new tokens?

You get your plan's tokens on the first day of each month. Monthly tokens you haven't used expire at the end of the month. Extra tokens added to your account are used after your monthly tokens and don't expire at the end of the month.

If you run out, the AI features say "Not enough tokens." Contact our team in the chat if you need more.

## Your data

- Rex never sees the full name or email address of your leads, only initials and email domain. Analyses of leads use totals, not personal data.
- The AI features only use the content you give them, such as your campaign texts, your AI profile and the description you write.
- Generated texts and images are yours to use.
- Click **Clear conversation** in the chat to delete your conversation with Rex.
