Rex can make many changes for you. Just say what you want. Rex only acts when you clearly ask for a change: "How do I…" gets an explanation, "Please change…" gets the change.
How a change works
- Ask for the change, with the value you want, for example "Set the end date to 31 December at 23:59".
- If something is missing, Rex asks, for example which color or which prize you mean. Rex never picks a value for you.
- Rex makes the change and confirms it in one line.
- For settings, Rex also opens the panel where the setting lives and tells you where to find it next time.
- Check the result. On a live campaign, changes in the editor reach your visitors when you click Update.
For tasks that use AI tokens, such as images, themes, brand matching and translations, Rex tells you first. Translating a whole campaign always needs your confirmation.
On the platform
- Open things: any main page of the platform, a campaign's editor, or a campaign's tab (Dashboard, Leads, Prizes, Emails and more).
- Filter lists (while you are on the page):
- Campaigns: by status (Active, Draft, Paused, Ended), type, game format, country, tags, a date range and a search, and sort by name, start date, views, leads, trend and more.
- Leads: by search and date range.
- Plan: by status, events or campaigns, search, and jump to a week, month or year.
- Delivery status: by lead email, date range and integration.
- Templates: by type (landing page or popup), category and game format.
- Campaign dashboard period: on a campaign's dashboard, Rex can switch to 1 week, 1 month, 6 months, 12 months, the campaign period or your own dates.
- Tags: add or remove tags on a campaign. A new tag name creates the tag, optionally with a color.
- Data & access: turn automatic deletion of lead data after a campaign ends on or off and set the number of days, set Popups per session, the delay between popups, and turn support access on or off. Needs permission to edit the account.
- Plan: on the Plan page, generate a set of activities for a period and add them straight to the calendar. Uses AI tokens.
- Open forms for you to fill in: Invite user (Rex checks your permission and free seats first), the company profile and AI profile, and the leads export and import (also scheduled exports). You fill them in and send them yourself.
In the campaign editor
Texts and translation
- Rewrite or translate one element's text.
- Rewrite or translate every text on a page at once.
- Translate the whole campaign into another language: texts on all pages, prize names and descriptions, and email subjects. It takes one to three minutes.
Each of these uses AI tokens.
Design kit
- Colors: default text color, background color, email background color.
- Fonts: any Google Font for all texts, only the buttons, only the text styles, or one level (P, H1 to H4).
- Text styles: size, mobile size, color, bold and italic per level, and link color, bold, italic and underline.
- Buttons: font size and weight, colors, border style, width and color, rounded corners, padding and width.
- Logo: image and size.
- Background: image for desktop and mobile, and its alignment.
- Generate a full theme from a description, or match your brand from your website. Uses AI tokens.
- Generate a new background image (desktop, mobile or both), edit the current one with words, or remove its background. Uses AI tokens.
If the campaign has no design kit yet, Rex opens Designkit so you can create one first.
Prizes
For an existing prize, Rex can change:
- the name and the description shown to winners,
- the win chance (0 to 100%),
- the quantity, or turn Unlimited on or off,
- the value,
- the prize link (used where you place the prize link tag) and whether it opens in a new tab,
- whether you get a notification when the prize is won,
- the number of draw tickets a winner gets.
Rex can also generate a prize image, edit it or remove its background (uses AI tokens), and run a prize draw. Rex never pushes the total win chance of a game above 100%.
Campaign settings
- The internal name and the public title.
- Start and end date and time, or Always on.
- Country, language and timezone.
- Participation limits: once, per day, per week or per month, how many times, and when the week or month resets.
- A maximum number of participants and the page to show after that.
- Limit participation across languages.
- Login, so participants are recognised on their next visit.
- Notify on participation and who gets the emails (users of your account).
- A password for the preview.
- The email sender name and email tracking.
- Draw tickets and the number of tickets per participation.
- For popups: priority and stacking order.
Status
Publish, pause, continue, stop or end the campaign. Publishing follows the same rules as when you click the button, for example the number of campaigns your plan allows to be live at once.
Popups
- Layout: bar, slider, popup or full page, and its alignment.
- Triggers: show after a delay, on exit intent, after scrolling, and the click trigger.
- Show count per visitor and the days before it resets.
- Hide on desktop, tablet or mobile.
- Add or remove allowed domains.
- Add page targeting rules (show or hide on matching URL paths).
Calendars
- Doors per row, Randomize door order, Only show active doors on mobile, Hide front of door on past days, Allow clicking past days, Style doors individually, Hide numbers on doors and Individual dates on doors.
- Jump to a day, and copy a finished day onto an empty day (with an advanced calendar).
Editor view
- Go to a page, by name or by what is on it ("the page with the wheel").
- Open a panel: elements, Add page, prizes, Designkit, Settings, Participation, Integrations, tracking, Notes, Embed & URL, Metadata, Global Effects, Security, Localization, emails, popup Placement and Display, dynamic tags and more.
- Open an element's panel on the right tab.
- Switch between desktop, mobile and tablet view.
- Switch between edit and preview.
- Jump to an error from the error list.
Notes
Read the campaign's notes and add a new note. Rex can't remember things between conversations, so a note is the best way to keep something for later.
What you do yourself
Rex helps you build, but you stay in charge:
- Templates: every campaign starts from a template you choose. Rex helps you find one.
- Pages, elements and games: Rex doesn't add, move or delete them. It opens the right panel and tells you what to drag or click.
- Element and game settings: Rex reads them and explains them, but you change them in the element's panel. The calendar settings above are the exception.
- Add-ons: Rex tells you which add-on you need and where it is, but you turn it on.
- Prizes: Rex doesn't create or delete prizes, and doesn't change Only allow winning once.
- Effects: Rex tells you which effects are on, but you turn them on or off.
- Page targeting: Rex can add rules, but you remove them in Display > Targeting.
- Webhooks: Rex lists them, but you create and edit them.
- Campaigns: Rex doesn't copy, move or delete campaigns, and doesn't delete leads.
Undo
Undo (Ctrl/Cmd+Z) covers changes on the canvas: pages, elements, form fields, quiz questions and texts. It doesn't cover prizes, the design kit, settings, integrations or emails. To reverse such a change, ask Rex to change it back to the value you want, or change it in the panel Rex opened.
