# Cancel your subscription

How to cancel or pause your plan, what happens to your campaigns and data, and how to get your data out first.

We are sorry to see you go. To cancel your subscription, contact our team in the chat or write to <contact@scratcher.io>. We help you right away and tell you when the subscription ends.

Yearly plans run to the end of the year you have paid for.

## Before you cancel

- **Export your leads.** See [Export your leads](https://scratcher.io/help/results/export-leads).
- **Check your integrations**, so leads you need have reached your email tool or CRM.
- **End live campaigns** and remove the embed script and popup script from your website.

## Maybe a smaller plan is enough?

If you mainly need fewer campaigns or users, you can [downgrade](https://scratcher.io/help/billing/upgrade-or-downgrade) instead and keep your campaigns and data.
