Small effects make a campaign feel alive. You can animate single elements, celebrate a win, and add effects to the whole campaign.
Animate an element
- Click the element and open the Effects tab.
- Choose an Entry animation (when it appears), an Exit animation (when it leaves) or an Idle animation (while it is on screen).
- Pick a type, such as Fade, Slide, Pop, Pulse, Wobble or Rotate.
- Set the Duration and Delay, and choose a Transition feel, such as Smooth, Snappy or Bouncy.
- Click Preview animation to see it, and Stop preview to stop it.
More animation settings:
- Delay: turn on Toggle delay before playing and choose how many seconds to wait before the animation starts.
- Duration and Easing, for animations with the Linear feel: Constant, Starts slow, Ends slow or Slow, fast, slow.
- Games also have Game finish: Winner, Game finish: Lose and Game finish: Neutral, to animate the game when it ends.
Celebrate with visual effects
Under Visual effects you can add Confetti, Fireworks, Snow or Drop images (your own images falling down the screen). Effects can start at a set moment, such as Game finish: Winner, so the confetti only falls for winners. Turn an effect on to see its settings, and click play to preview it:
- Fireworks: Color, Color variation (how much the colors vary), Time between rockets (in ms), Amount of particles, Spread, Gravity, and Show rocket trail with a Rocket color and Rocket speed.
- Confetti: Shape (Square or Circle), Size and Twirl.
- Drop images: the Image (or Icon), Max image size and Drop speed.
- Snow has no settings.
Effects for the whole campaign
For landing page campaigns, open Settings > Global Effects:
- Page animations: an entry and exit animation for every page.
- Visual effects: effects that run across the campaign.
- Background music: upload an Audio file, set the Volume and choose Loop sound.
- Loader: click Add loader to show an animation while the campaign loads. Choose the Loader type (Spinner, Circle, Ring, Dual ring, Ellipsis, Hourglass, Ripple, Grid, Roller, Heart or Circle dots), its Color and Size. Turn on Show loader to see it in the editor.
Game sounds
Many games have their own Sounds section in the game's settings, for example a sound when the wheel spins.
Keep it light: one or two effects are usually more fun than many. Players who have asked their device to reduce motion see fewer animations.
