Every Scratcher campaign starts from a template: a complete campaign with pages, texts, a game and a design that already work. You change what you want and keep the rest.
Create a campaign
- Click Campaigns in the top bar.
- Click Create campaign. If you want a popup that appears on top of your website, switch to Popups first and click Create popup.
- On the Create campaign page, find a template:
- Use Campaign or Popup to choose the type.
- Use Luck, Skill, Knowledge or Other to filter by kind of game.
- Use Popular or New to sort, or type in Search by format name….
- Click the template you like. A card shows how many pages the campaign has under Flow.
- In the dialog, fill in:
- Campaign name: only you see this.
- Select country: this also sets the language and time zone of the campaign.
- Language: the language your players see.
- Click Create campaign. The editor opens.
Landing page or popup?
- A landing page campaign has its own web address. You share the link, a QR code, or embed it inside a page on your website.
- A popup appears on top of your website, for example after some seconds or when a visitor is about to leave. You set when and where it shows.
You can't turn a landing page into a popup later, so choose the type that fits how people will find the campaign. Not sure? Ask Rex in the chat on the Create campaign page. Rex asks a few questions and filters the templates for you.
Which games are on my plan?
Some game formats are part of higher plans. If a template is locked, you see an upgrade note on it. See Your trial, plans and what happens when the trial ends.
Other ways to start
- Copy a campaign that worked well: open the Actions menu next to it on the Campaigns page and click Copy campaign. See Organise, copy and delete campaigns.
- Add a language version of a campaign you already have. See Run a campaign in several languages.
If no template matches your search, the page says No formats found. Each template card shows how many pages its flow has, for example "Flow 4".
