Dynamic tags are placeholders that Scratcher replaces with real information when someone plays. Write "Congratulations {LEAD_FIRST_NAME}!" and Anna sees "Congratulations Anna!".
Insert a dynamic tag
- Click a text on the page.
- In the floating text toolbar, click Dynamic tags.
- Click the tag you want. It is copied to your clipboard.
- Paste it into the text where you want it.
Which tags are there?
- Lead: First name, Last name, Full name, Email and Phone number, from the sign-up form.
- Prize: Name, Value, Description, Discount code, Valid until, Link and Image of the prize the player won.
- Game: for example Points, Time elapsed, Attempts remaining and Drawing tickets.
- Generic: dates and times, such as Current date, Tomorrow, Day of week and Year.
Tips
- A tag only has a value when the information exists. The first name is empty if your form doesn't ask for it.
- Prize tags work on prize pages and in prize emails.
- Use Preview to play the campaign and check that the tags show what you expect.
All generic and game tags
- Generic: Current date, Tomorrow, Yesterday, Day of month, Day of week, Month, Month name, Year, Hour, Minute, Second and Error message.
- Game: Points, Time elapsed, Time remaining, Attempts used, Attempts remaining, Click counter and Quiz same answer percentage.
- Lead: also Drawing tickets, when the campaign uses draw tickets.
Prize tags only show in prize emails, not in other emails.
