Each campaign has one language. To reach people in several languages, you make a language version for each one. The versions are linked, so you can jump between them in the editor.
Set the campaign's language
- In the editor, open Settings > Localization.
- Set the Country, Language and Timezone. The language changes the built-in texts players see, such as error messages, and how dates are written.
Add a language version
- Click the flag button next to the campaign name in the top bar and choose Add language.
- Under Campaign to copy from, keep Current campaign or choose another one.
- Choose the Country. Language and Timezone are set for you.
- Check the Campaign name. The country code is added to the end.
- Click Add language.
Scratcher makes the copy in the background and lets you know when it's done. The new version has its own link, prizes and statistics.
Language versions need the Languages feature: the Extra language add-on, or a plan that includes it.
Translate the new version
Open the new version and translate all its texts in one go:
- Open Settings > Localization.
- Click Translate the campaign. The texts are translated into the campaign's language and replace the old texts.

Switch between versions
Click the flag button to see all language versions with their status. Click one to open it.
Good to know
- Players don't get a language switcher. Share the right link with each audience, for example the Danish link in your Danish newsletter.
- To stop people from playing once in each language, turn on Limit participation across languages in Settings > Participation.
- Built-in messages, such as "You have already participated", can be changed in Settings > Participation under Custom error messages.
In the Add language panel, the fields are Select campaign (under Campaign to copy from), Select language and Select timezone.
