Buttons move players through your campaign. Images can also have a click action.
Choose what the button does
Click the button and open Navigation on the Content tab. You change the button text directly on the page. The options depend on where the button is:
- Next page and Previous page: go forward or back in the flow.
- Go to page: jump to a page you choose under Page.
- Link: open a web address, with Open in new tab if you want.
- Play: start the game on the page. Games that start with a button have one Play button, and it can't be changed.
- Submit: send the form. A form always has one Submit button.
- Share: share the campaign with a Share message and, if you like, your own Share URL.
- Close popup: close a popup page.
- Copy discount code: copy the winner's code, with a Copied text success message. Only on prize pages.
- Go to redeem page and Confirm redemption: used when winners redeem a prize in store.
- Confirm double opt-in: the button in a double opt-in email.
- Reload page, Logout and Download file: available with the button add-ons below.
- None: for images that shouldn't do anything.
Track clicks
Turn on Click tracking and choose an event, or create a new one. The clicks are counted under Visitor events on the dashboard and can be sent to your tracking tools. See Track channels, Google Analytics and pixels.
Style the button
On the Styles tab: Font, Background color, Text color, Border, Size, Shape and Alignment. Use Apply to all to make it the style for every button in the campaign.
Button add-ons
- Background image: use an image instead of a color.
- Reload page action: reload the page when the button is clicked.
- Logout action: log the participant out, for campaigns with login.
- Download file action: download a file, for example a PDF guide. Enter the File URL.
Some buttons have a fixed action because the campaign needs them, for example the only Submit button in a form or the Play button of a game. Their action can't be changed.
The add-ons in their own words: Background image ("Use a background image instead of a color"), Reload page action, Logout action ("Log the participant out when clicking this button") and Download file action ("Download the selected file when clicking this button").
