Images, logos, video and fonts # Images, logos, video and fonts Add images and your logo, show a prize image automatically, embed YouTube, Vimeo or your own video, and upload fonts. ## Images and logos 1. Insert an **Image** or **Logo** element, or click one on the page. 2. Choose an image on the **Content** tab. You can upload one, pick one you have uploaded before, or make one with AI. 3. Optional: give it a click action under **Navigation**. See [Buttons and click actions](https://scratcher.io/help/elements/buttons-and-click-actions). 4. On the **Styles** tab, set the **Border**, **Size**, **Shape** and **Alignment**. The **Logo** element uses the logo from your design kit. On prize pages and in prize emails, you can choose **Use prize image**, so the image always shows the prize the player won. Choose **Use your own image** to pick a fixed image. ## The media library The image picker has two tabs: - **Upload**: drop files or click to upload. The panel shows the maximum file size and the recommended size for that spot. - **Browse**: the files you have uploaded. Filter by type, such as **Background** or **Logo**, search, and turn on **Show all** to see files from all your campaigns, not just this one. Each image has **Preview**, **Crop image**, **File information** (with its **Dimensions**), **Download** and **Delete**. Click **Load more** to see older files. When you crop an image, you can **Zoom in**, **Zoom out**, **Rotate left**, **Rotate right**, **Flip horizontal** and **Flip vertical**, and choose a fixed shape or **Freeform**. Click **Crop and save**. The uncropped copy is kept, so you can go back to it. The upload area shows the **Recommended image size** for that spot, and whether the image fills the area (edges may be cropped) or is scaled to fit. Some spots work best with a transparent background. If you resize an image in the editor, keep the same aspect ratio. Sounds, such as game sounds and background music, use the same kind of field: **Upload audio**, **Change audio** or **Deselect**. Older versions of an image are kept under **Versions**, so you can go back. In an image's **Actions** menu you also find **Generate image**, **Edit image** and **Remove background** with AI. See [Make and edit images with AI](https://scratcher.io/help/ai/ai-images). You can upload JPG, PNG, GIF, SVG, WEBP and AVIF images, MP4 and WEBM videos, and MP3, WAV, OGG and M4A audio. ## Video 1. Insert a **Video** element. 2. Choose the **Video type**: **YouTube**, **Vimeo** or **Custom** (your own file). 3. Paste the video's link, or upload the file. 4. For YouTube and Vimeo, choose a **Preview image** if you want a still before the video plays. Click **Display preview image** to see the still in the editor, and **Hide preview image** to hide it again. On the **Settings** tab: - **Autoplay**, **Mute**, **Loop video** and **Show video controls**. - **Lazy load**: the video only loads when it is needed, which makes the page faster. - **Define start/end time**: play only part of the video, from **Start (in seconds)** to **End (in seconds)**. - For Vimeo: **Show portrait**, **Show title** and **Show byline**. On the **Styles** tab, choose the **Aspect ratio**: **Square**, **Landscape** or **Portrait**. Many phones only autoplay videos that are muted. ## Fonts Choose fonts in the design kit or the text toolbar. The font list has: - **My Fonts**: fonts you have uploaded. Click **Upload font** to add OTF, TTF or WOFF files of up to 2 MB. - **System Fonts**: safe fonts such as Arial, Helvetica and Georgia. - **Other Fonts**: a large library of web fonts. Only upload fonts you have a license to use on the web. ## The media panel at a glance - **Search media** finds files by name, and the **Show all** switch ("Display all files or only files from this campaign") widens the search. - Drop a file on an image field (**or drop one here**), or on a sound field (**Drop audio to use**). The field shows the **Max file size**. - **Delete file** removes a file from your library. - In the font list, uploaded fonts can be removed with **Delete font**. "No fonts found" means no font matches your search.
