Edit the sign-up form

Add, remove and arrange fields, use system fields and your own fields, style the form and see everything in the form panel.

The form collects the details you want from players. Ask only for what you need: every extra field means fewer sign-ups.

Add a field

  1. Open the page with the form and click the form.
  2. On the Content tab, under Fields, click Add field.
  3. Open the list (Select a field) and choose a field:
    • System fields: ready-made fields such as First name, Last name, Email, Phone number, Country, Postal code, City, Birthday, Age and Gender.
    • My fields: fields you have created before, in any campaign.
    • Create new field: make your own. See Form field types, settings and styling.
  4. Click Add.

The field is added at the bottom of the form, and it is required. Click it to change that, or to change its texts.

Arrange and remove fields

  • Change the order: drag the fields on the page. The list under Fields follows the order on the page.
  • Remove a field: click the three dots next to it under Fields (Actions), choose Delete and confirm with Remove field. Leads you already collected keep their answers.
  • Edit a field: click it in the list, or click it on the page and choose Edit under Settings.

Everything in the form panel

When you click the form's edge, the panel is called Form.

On the Content tab:

  • Fields: the visible fields, in order.
  • Hidden fields: fields that aren't shown, if the form has any.
  • Unique field: the field that identifies a person. Shown when the campaign has more than one form or the Custom unique field add-on is on.
  • Integrations: the integrations that receive the leads. Click one to edit it, or Add integration if there are none yet. See How integrations work.
  • Form add-ons: extra features such as captcha, double opt-in and multi-step forms. See Every form add-on.

On the Styles tab:

  • Background: a color or an image behind the form.
  • Size: the width of the form. Choose small, medium or large, or set your own width.

To style the fields themselves (fonts, colors, borders), click one field. Its styling applies to every field in the form.

The form's button

Every form has one button that sends it. Click it to change its text and style like any other button. After sending, people go to the next page, unless you choose something else with the Custom submit action add-on.

Good to know

  • A page can have one form. A popup teaser can't have a form.
  • In the page flow, the form page lists its Fields with a Manage link, and the Terms and conditions pages with Add terms and conditions.
  • The Unique field decides when two sign-ups are the same person, and participation limits use it. A form with an email or phone field is needed to limit participation. See Hidden fields, prefilled forms and the unique field.
  • If the form is empty, the editor reminds you to add your first field.
