Catch objects (drop) and hit the target

Set up items and points, the basket or cursor, difficulty, paths and exits, and the countdown before the game.

Catch Objects (Drop)

Items fall from the top, and players move a basket to catch them.

Content tab

  • Items: for each item, upload an Image and set the Points it gives. Use negative points for items to avoid. Turn on Use custom splash colors to give an item its own points splash. Click Add item for more.
  • Basket: the image players move.
  • Goal: the points needed to win.

Settings tab

  • Game difficulty: Easy, Medium or Hard. With the add-on Customize difficulty level, you set the Speed of dropping items, Speed variation and Drop interval (in ms) yourself.
  • Icon size and Rotate items, with the Rotation direction (Left, Right or Random) and Rotation speed.
  • Points, Timer and Countdown. See Finish conditions, timer and points.

Styles tab: the game's Background, Size and Shadow; the Splash (the points shown when an item is caught: font, colors, border, shadow and Fade out (in ms)); and the Basket size.

Click Preview to see the items fall in the editor, and Stop preview to stop.

Hit the Target (and Slice It)

Items fly across the screen, and players click them. In Slice It, they swipe to slice them.

Content tab: the Items with image and points, a Catch animation for each item, the Cursor image and the Goal.

Settings tab

  • Catch items by: Clicking or Slicing.
  • Game difficulty, or with the add-on: Item speed, Next item interval and Max visible items.
  • Do not show same item twice in a row and Rotate items.
  • Item animation > Paths: where items fly. For each path, choose the Entry side (left, right, top or bottom), a fixed entry position if you like, the Section on side (Start, Middle or End) and the Section size (percentage of side). Make it curve with Curve up/right or Curve down/left, the Curve percentage (of width or height) and the Curve percentage randomness (+- in %). Click Add path for more.
  • Path exits: where items leave the screen. Click Add exit and set the Exit side, its position and section, and an optional name. A path can use a Custom exit: turn it on and Select exits.

Click Preview on a path to see it.

Add-ons for both games

  • Countdown: show a "3, 2, 1" countdown before the game starts. Set Line 1, Line 2 and Line 3, the Font, Text color, Background color and Count interval (in ms) in the Countdown section of the Settings tab.
  • Finish conditions: give different prizes or pages depending on the score.
  • Customize difficulty level: set the speed yourself instead of Easy, Medium or Hard.

Paths and exits in detail

A path's Fixed entry position (0-100%) makes all items enter at the same point on the side, instead of anywhere in the section. An exit's Fixed exit position (0-100%) does the same for where items leave.
