Click the quiz on the page and open its questions. Click a question to edit it, or double-click its name to rename it. Use Reorder to change the order.
The question
On the question's Content tab:
- Title: the question.
- Additional information: a short text under the question.
- Image: turn it on to show an image with the question.
- Answer type:
- By text: answers as buttons with text.
- By image: answers as pictures. With Show text below image and Show button below image.
- Text input: players type their answer. Turn on Allow multiple lines for longer answers.
- Rating: players give a score from 1 to the Max rating (3 to 10), with your own rating images if you like.
- Number and Slider: players pick a number between Min value and Max value, with a Prefix or Suffix such as € or kg. Sliders have an Interval and can Show numeric input.
On the Settings tab:
- Allow multiple answers: players can pick more than one.
- Use question video: show a YouTube, Vimeo or your own video with the question.
- For ratings: Add rating score to points.
Question add-ons
- Enable advanced editor: format the title and content with HTML.
- Custom colors: give this question its own background, title and description colors.
- Active period: only show the question between a Start date and an End date. Useful for a quiz with a new question each day.
Answers
Click Add answer under a question, then click the answer to edit it:
- Answer title: the text people see.
- Internal name (not required): a name only you see, used in statistics.
- Type: Correct or Wrong, in a quiz by correct answers. You can also click the chip on the answer: Set as correct.
- Points to award: in personality tests, product recommendations, video quizzes, guides and ratings.
- Result: in a quiz by result, the result the answer counts towards.
- Image: for image answers.
- Finish the quiz when selecting an answer (on Settings): end the quiz right away, for example when someone answers "Not interested".
Answer add-ons: Custom colors for this answer, and Prefix styling for the letter shown before it (A, B, C).
Texts after an answer
With the quiz add-on Show text after answering, each answer gets an After answer text, shown after people answer. Use it to explain why an answer is right.
Time limit
The add-on Question time limit gives people a set number of seconds to answer.
More question and answer settings
- Video link: the link to the YouTube or Vimeo video, with Use question video.
- Enable custom rating images: your own images for rating answers.
- Enable formatting: show number and slider values with thousands separators.
- For swipe games: "Use the same size image to get the best-looking result".
- The add-on Custom colors ("Allow changing the colors for this question") gives the question a Background color, Title color and Description color.
- Active period ("Only show this question between a start and end date").
- Enable advanced editor ("Format your question title and content using HTML").
- On answers, Custom colors ("Customize the colors for this specific answer") and Prefix styling ("Customize the style of the letter shown before this answer"). Under Answer prefix you set the letter's color, bold and gap, and with Show correct/incorrect answers, the Correct colors and Incorrect colors.
- Answer actions on an answer let you edit or delete it.
