In a skill game, players score points or race against the clock. You decide what result wins.
The skill games
Each game's settings are described in Catch objects (drop) and hit the target and Smash it, tap it, memory, puzzle, match matrix and bubble shooter.
- Catch Objects (Drop): catch falling items in a basket. Set the Items and their Points, the Basket and the Game difficulty.
- Hit the Target: click or slice items moving across the screen.
- Puzzle: slide tiles to complete an image. Choose the image and how many tiles.
- Memory Match: find matching pairs of cards. Set the Amount of pairs and the card back.
- Tap It: tap as fast as possible.
- Smash It: smash items as they pop up.
- Match Matrix and Bubble Shooter: match items or bubbles for points.
Most skill games have a Countdown before the start and a Timer.
Decide who wins
Open the game settings and find Finish conditions: "Award specific prizes or show specific pages based on the points or time reached during the game."
- Choose what to Base conditions on: Points or Time.
- Set the Points goal or Time limit.
- Choose what happens: Win prize, No prize or Set as winner, and the Page to show.
You can add several conditions, for example a big prize for 500 points and a small one for 200.
If you only want to reward the best players, skip the instant prizes. Turn off Enable prizes in the game's prize settings, add a leaderboard and draw the winners among the top scores when the campaign ends.
Tips
- Test the difficulty on a phone. What feels easy with a mouse can be hard with a thumb.
- Use the participation limit to decide how often people can play. More tries keep a competition going.
