Connect HeyLoyalty # Connect HeyLoyalty Find your API key and secret in HeyLoyalty, connect them, and add new sign-ups to a HeyLoyalty list. With the HeyLoyalty integration, everyone who signs up is added as a member of the HeyLoyalty list you choose. If the email address is already on the list, the member is updated. ## What you need - A HeyLoyalty account with at least one list, and a user who can see the account's API details. ## Step 1: Find your API key and secret in HeyLoyalty 1. Log in to HeyLoyalty. 2. Open your account settings and find the integration or API section. 3. Copy the **API key** and the **API secret**. The key gives access to the whole account, so there are no permissions to choose. Scratcher reads your lists and their fields, and creates and updates members. ## Step 2: Connect HeyLoyalty to Scratcher 1. In Scratcher, go to **Settings** > **Integrations** and click **HeyLoyalty**. 2. Paste the **Api Key** and the **API Secret**. 3. Click **Install integration**. Scratcher checks that it can read your lists. ## Step 3: Turn it on in a campaign 1. In the editor, go to **Connect** > **Integrations** > **HeyLoyalty** and click **Activate**. 2. If you have connected more than one account, choose it under **Select account**. 3. Under **External list**, choose the HeyLoyalty list. 4. Under **Field mappings**, match each **Scratcher field** to a field on the list. The list's fields, including your own, are shown by name. 5. Under **Filter by permissions (optional)**, choose your marketing consent checkbox. 6. Click **Save**, and then **Test**. ## Field mapping - The email address is always sent. Map everything else, including first name, last name and mobile. - If a field is required on the HeyLoyalty list, map it, or HeyLoyalty rejects the member. - For the mobile field, use the **Format** setting to send the number the way your list expects. ## What is sent and when New sign-ups are sent within a minute or two, and existing leads are sent when you activate it. **Delivery status** shows whether each member was new or already on the list. ## Troubleshooting - Deliveries fail with a field error: a required list field isn't mapped, or a value doesn't fit the field, for example a date or a phone number. Check the mappings. - Everything fails after it worked: the API key or secret was changed in HeyLoyalty. Connect again with **Add new account**.
