# Add a prize

Add a prize to your game: name, image, value, how many there are, the chance to win and how it is redeemed.

Prizes belong to the game in your campaign. A prize can be won instantly while playing, or drawn among the players later.

## Add an instant-win prize

1. In the editor, find the **Game** page under **Flow** and click **Prizes** > **Manage**. The **Prizes** panel shows all prizes with their quantity (**Qty**) and chance to win (**Win %**).
2. Click **Add prize**. Choose **Create new**, or **Copy from existing** to reuse a prize from another campaign.
3. On the **Prize** tab, fill in:
    - **Name**, for example "20% off your next order".
    - **Description** and **Image** (optional, but they make the prize page look better).
    - **Value**, for example "€25".
    - **Link**, for example to your shop.
4. Set the **Quantity**, or turn on **Unlimited**.
5. Set the **Winning chance (0-100%)**. See [Set the win chance and prize limits](https://scratcher.io/help/prizes/win-chance-and-limits).
6. Choose the **Redemption method**:
    - No method selected: the prize is handed out by you, for example a product you send.
    - **Discount code**: winners get a code. See [Give discount codes as prizes](https://scratcher.io/help/prizes/discount-codes).
    - **Barcode**: winners get a barcode to scan in store. See [Barcodes and redeeming prizes in store](https://scratcher.io/help/prizes/barcodes-and-in-store-redemption).
7. Click **Add prize**.

Prize changes reach players when you click **Publish** or **Update**.

## Add a draw prize

A draw prize isn't won while playing. You draw the winners among the players later, for example when the campaign ends. Click **Add draw** instead of **Add prize**. See [Draw winners](https://scratcher.io/help/prizes/draw-winners).

## Prize settings

On the prize's **Settings** tab you find more options:

- **Notify email on win**: send an email to you or a colleague every time the prize is won.
- **Disable prize**: stop the prize from being won without deleting it.
- Add-ons such as **Win once**, **Active period**, **Custom prize page** and **Participant-based win chance**. See [Set the win chance and prize limits](https://scratcher.io/help/prizes/win-chance-and-limits).

## Edit or delete a prize

In the **Prizes** panel, open the prize's **Actions** menu and choose **Edit prize** or **Delete**. You can also generate or edit a prize image with AI, by asking Rex in the editor. See [Make and edit images with AI](https://scratcher.io/help/ai/ai-images).

## The prize panel at a glance

- **Winning chance (0-100%)** with **Fill remaining** ("Fill remaining chance to 100%").
- **Copy from existing** has a search: **Search prizes**.
- With the **Prize pool** add-on, choose a pool under **Select a prize pool**. Pools are shown as "name (qty: amount)".
- Click **Add prize** for a new prize, or **Save prize** when you edit one.
- In the game's prize settings, pages are chosen under **Select a page**.
