This page lists every setting in the prize screens of Scratcher, in the order you meet them. For step-by-step guides, see Add a prize, Give discount codes as prizes and Draw winners.
The Prizes panel in the editor
Open it with Prizes > Manage under the game page, or Settings > Draw.
Prizes tab
- The table lists each prize with Prize, Qty (quantity, or Unlimited) and Win % (a percentage, "fill" for Fill remaining, or "dynamic" for a participant-based chance).
- Display active periods shows when each prize can be won.
- Each prize's Actions menu: Edit prize, Delete prize ("Are you sure you want to delete this prize? The related prize page will be deleted as well.") and Create prize page.
- Add prize adds an instant-win prize; Add draw adds a draw prize. Draw prizes have their own table with Draw and Qty.
- Under the game page in Flow, a prize without a page says "Prize is missing a page". A prize that uses the shared page says "This prize page uses the default prize page".
Settings tab (for the whole game)
- Enable prizes (skill games): turn off to use a Win page and Lose page instead of prizes.
- Only allow winning once: a person can win one prize in this game.
- Max attempts (Lucky Number): how many codes a person may try, 1 to 254.
- Add-on Exceed 100% win chance: "Let the total win chance go above 100%, useful for prizes tied to an active period."

- Add-on Draw tickets: "Give participants tickets that determine who wins draw prizes." Set the Amount of tickets on participation (more than 0 and at most 99).
A prize: the Prize tab
The panel is called Create prize or Edit prize (Create draw or Edit draw for draw prizes). Its ID is shown at the bottom once saved.
- Create new or Copy from existing (search with Search prizes; "No prizes found" if nothing matches).
- Name, Description, Image, Value (for example $100) and Link, with Open in new tab.
- Quantity, or Unlimited. With the prize pool add-on: Prize pool, chosen under Select a prize pool, or + Create new.

- Redemption method: Discount code or Barcode (or neither, for prizes you hand out yourself). Then Type: Unique codes or Fixed code with a Code.
- For unique codes, the prize must be saved first: "You have to create the prize to add your unique discount codes." (or barcodes). Then click Manage discount codes or Manage barcodes ("Add or remove discount codes").
- For barcodes, click Settings (Manage barcode settings).
- Add prize (new) or Save prize.
A prize: the Settings tab

Prize add-ons
- Direct redemption (not for popups): "Let winners redeem this prize directly, skipping the standard redemption flow." Settings: Last redeem type (Hours from prize is won with Hours before prize expires, or Specific date with Expiry date), and Recycle prize duration - Hours and - Minutes. Scratcher warns that this can hand out a prize again if the delay is too short.
- Participant-based win chance: "Base the win chance on the number of participants so it increases as more people join." Set the Expected participants. "This setting is shared across all prizes on this game."
- Custom prize page: "Display a custom page when a participant wins this prize." Choose the Page to show, or keep the Next page in campaign flow.

- Win once: "Only allow this prize to be won once per lead."
- Active period (after saving): "Limit this prize's winning phase to a specific period during the campaign."
- Reset amount (after saving): "Reset the number of available prizes at a set time … Make sure enough prizes or codes are available before the reset."
- Increase win chance (after saving): "Boost the win probability during a specific period …", with the Win chance increase.
- Decrease win chance (after saving): "Lower the win probability during a specific period …", with the Win chance decrease.
Schedules
Used by active periods, resets, win chance changes and automatic draws. Click Add period and set:
- Type: Daily, Weekly, Monthly, At interval, On campaign day, On campaign last day, On campaign end, On campaign start or On date.
- On: Campaign day, Date, Campaign start, First day or Last day, with the Date, Campaign day, Hour, Day of the week, Day in month (1-28) or Last day in month, and the Time of day.
- End after period: a number of Days or Hours.
A schedule is summarised, for example "Daily at 09:00", "Weekly on Monday at 09:00", "Monthly on day 1 at 09:00" or "Monthly on the last day at 09:00". Remove deletes it after you confirm.
Discount codes and barcodes
Manage codes has three tabs:
- List: search, Refresh, the Total codes, and for each code Is used and its barcode. Each code's menu: Mark as used, Mark as unused and Delete. A code that is redeemed or reserved for a winner can't be deleted. The totals show Total, Used and Unused. Delete all codes removes all unredeemed codes.
- Add > File: choose a File (.csv) (other file types give "Invalid file type"), check the Preview of first 10 codes, use Skip first row for a header, and click Upload codes. "The codes are being uploaded. You can safely leave this page and come back later."
- Add > Manual: type a Code and click Add.
- Barcode (for barcodes): Type (Code 39, Code 128, Interleaved 2 of 5 (ITF), EAN 8, EAN 13, UPC-A, UPC-E), Include code as text, Bar thickness, Height, Color, Use background color and Background color, with a Preview.
The Prizes tab of a campaign
Outside the editor, the campaign's Prizes tab is called Campaign prizes:
- Cards: Prizes, Won prizes, Redeemed prizes, Expired prizes, Win rate, Remaining prizes, and Total prizes.
- Normal prizes: Prize name, Type (Codes, Barcode or Manual), Won, Remaining, a graph, and Edit prize. Search the list with the search field.
- Draw prizes show the Next draw, with See winners (opens "Draw prize: name" with the winners and Load more) and Edit prize.
- Draw winner opens the draw dialog: choose the Prize, optionally Filter by participation date, see the Total amount, Remaining prizes and Total participants, choose Draw all prizes or the Number of winners to draw, and click Draw winner. Winners are listed, with "+ more" when there are many.
Score and skill draws (for the Score game) are on the Game data tab:
- Draw prizes with the Draw job status: Pending, Running, Failed (See error), Completed or Not started, and View details.
- Draw settings: enter the Match results, then Find number of winners:, Minimum correct answers: and see the Potential winners:. Click Check, then Draw winner. A prize can only be drawn once. Scratcher tells you if the number of winners is below 1, if there are not enough potential winners, or if the match results are not valid. Until the deadline, it says the game is still open for participants.
A lead's prizes
On a lead's Prizes tab (see Find and edit leads):
- Add prize: choose the Campaign and Prize and click Create.
- For each won prize: its status (Won, Redeemed or Expired), the Code or Barcode, and the actions Resend email ("The prize email has been resent."), Preview email, Reset expiry ("The prize redemption has been reset.") and Delete prize ("The prize winner has been deleted.").
