Export your leads # Export your leads Download your leads as CSV or Excel, choose columns and periods, export only winners, or schedule exports by email. ## Export leads 1. On the **Leads** page or a campaign's **Leads** tab, click **Export / Import**. 2. On the **Export** tab, choose the **File format**: **Comma-separated** (CSV) or **.xlsx spreadsheet** (Excel). 3. Under **Recipients (separate with ',' for multiple)**, enter the email addresses that should get the file. 4. Under **Export columns**, choose **All columns**, **Selected columns** or, on a campaign, **Campaign columns** (the fields of that campaign). 5. With **Selected columns**, move the columns you want from **Unselected fields** to **Selected fields**. 6. Optional: choose a **Period (leave empty for all leads)**. 7. On a campaign, you can also tick **Export winners only** or **Filter based on participation**. 8. Click **Export**. "The file is being exported and will be sent to your email shortly." The email has a download link that works for 48 hours. ## Period and participation By default, the **Period** filters on when the lead was created, that is, when the person first signed up in your account. On a campaign, tick **Filter based on participation** to filter on when people took part in this campaign instead. Use it to include people who signed up earlier and came back in the period. On a campaign, the period uses the campaign's time zone. ## Columns you can include Besides the form fields, you can include columns such as **Created At**, **IP Address**, **Channel**, **Prize**, **Prize Discount Code**, **Permission Text**, **Double Opt-In Confirmation Date**, **Participation dates** and **Drawing tickets**. You must select at least one column. ## Schedule exports To get a fresh file regularly, for example every Monday: 1. Set up the export as above. 2. Turn on **Save as scheduled export**. 3. Choose the **Timezone** and the **Export generation time**. 4. Choose the **Send frequency**: **Daily**, **Weekly** (pick the **Day of the week**) or **Monthly** (pick the **Day of the month**). 5. Turn on **Only on weekdays** if you want to skip weekends. 6. Click **Create**. A scheduled export has no **Period** setting. Your scheduled exports are on the **Scheduled exports** tab, for example "Daily at 08:00" or "Weekly on Monday at 08:00". Open a schedule's **More actions** menu and click **Edit** to change it (then **Save**), or **Delete** to remove it (**Delete scheduled export**). Click **Add schedule** to make a new one. ## Keep exported data safe An export contains personal data. Store the file safely, share it only with those who need it, and delete it when you are done.
