# Track channels, Google Analytics and pixels

See which channel brings the most players, track button clicks, and send campaign events to Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Meta, Snapchat and TikTok.

## Channels: where your players come from

A channel is your campaign link with a label, such as "newsletter" or "facebook". The dashboard and the leads list then show how many came from each.

1. In the editor, open **Connect** > **Tracking** > **Channels**.
2. Click **Add channel** and type a name, for example "facebook". Press Enter to add it ("Enter to add · Esc to cancel").
3. Choose which link to copy (**Which link should I share?**):
    - **Scratcher URL**: the campaign's own link. Use it when visitors open the campaign directly.
    - **Your website**: only for campaigns embedded on your own site with the embed script. The links point to the **Page where the campaign is embedded**. It's detected automatically the first time the campaign loads there, and you can change it.
    - **Custom URL**: the campaign on your own custom domain.
4. Click **Copy link** and use the link in that channel.

Each link is the campaign link with `?channel=` and the name at the end. A visitor counts for the channel they arrived through.

You then see which channels bring the most visitors and leads on the campaign dashboard's **Channels** card, and which channel each lead came from on the **Leads** tab. Visitors without a channel are counted too.

Channels are shared across your campaigns: when you add one, you can pick a channel you've already used elsewhere (**Used in other campaigns**). **Delete channel** only removes it from this campaign. Other campaigns using it aren't affected. Click **How channels work** for a short explanation in the editor.

## Track button clicks

You can count clicks on a button, for example "Go to shop":

1. Select the button in the editor.
2. In its settings, turn on **Click tracking**.
3. Under **Select an event**, pick an event name, or type a new one to create it.

The clicks show up on the dashboard's **Visitor events** card, as **Action data** in your custom dashboards and leads list, and as **Data action** on each lead.

## Google Analytics, Tag Manager and pixels

Tracking providers are part of the paid plans.

1. Open **Connect** > **Tracking** > **Tracking providers**.
2. Add your provider: **Google Analytics** (your Measurement ID, G-…), **Google Tag Manager** (your Container ID, GTM-…), **Facebook** (Meta pixel), **Snapchat** or **Tiktok**.
3. Open **Events** and click **New event**.
4. Choose the campaign **Event**: page load, registration, finish, win, lose or first interaction.
5. Choose the **Provider**, and the **Action** to send, for example CompleteRegistration for Meta.
6. Click **Add event**.

To change an event, click it, change it and click **Update**. Remove one with **Delete event**.

## Cookie consent

Tracking should only start after visitors accept cookies. Open **Settings** > **Cookies** and turn on **Enable cookie notice**, so tracking only loads after consent.
