A campaign schedule is one embed script that you install on your website once. You attach the campaigns you want to show, and the script switches between them by itself based on when each one is live. You never have to touch your website again.
Create a schedule
- Go to Settings > Campaign Schedules and click New schedule (or Create your first schedule).
- In Add new schedule, give it a Name, such as "Front page banner", and click Add schedule.
- On the Campaigns tab, attach campaigns with Search campaigns to attach….
- Drag the campaigns into order (Drag to reorder). When more than one is live at the same time, the top one is shown.
- On the Install script tab, click Copy script and paste it once on your website, where the campaigns should appear.
- Click Save changes.
When each campaign shows
By default, each campaign is shown within its own start and end date. A campaign with no end date shows as Always on, and one with no dates says No period set on the campaign.
Turn on Advanced periods to give a campaign one or more periods of its own, just for this schedule: click + Period and Select dates. Remove period deletes one. The periods don't change the campaign's own dates.
The schedule card
Each schedule on the Campaign schedules page has a card that shows:
- Now showing: the campaign that is live right now, with Until and its end date. If nothing is live, it says Nothing – the script is idle.
- Next: the campaign that is up next and when it starts, or Nothing else scheduled.
- Campaign periods: all attached campaigns, marked Live or Not live.
From the card, click Attach campaign, Copy script or Edit.
Change or delete a schedule
Open Edit to attach or remove campaigns (Remove campaign) at any time, without installing a new script. On the Settings tab you can rename the schedule or Delete it. If you delete a schedule, the script stops showing campaigns on every site where it is installed.
The page's info box, How it works, explains the steps again. Close it with Got it.
